Teen Yoga 

Teens will experience mental and physical flexibility in a fun, safe environmentt through the practice of yoga-connecting breath with movement and finding stillness through meditation. Teen yoga improves general body awareness, boosts self-esteem and confidence, increases mobility and flexibility, builds stronger bones and muscles, develops imagination and creativity, and helps deal with fear and anxiety. This series will be offered  on the following Wednesdays: June 22nd, 29th.  July 13th, 20th, and 27th. In this class, teenagers will be able to begin or continue their yoga practice in a comfortable atmosphere. The class will be taught as any other yoga class but will be geared to the abilities of the students. 

Teen Aerial Yoga

Aerial yoga is a new style of yoga that uses a fabric hammock to help students acheive traditional yoga postures. This series will focus on balance and playfulness in order to bring mental and physical strength  and flexibility to teens. Teen Aerial Yoga improves ability to relax, boosts self-esteem and confidence, increases mobility and flexibility, and helps to overcome fear. This series will be offered to teenagers between the ages of 13 and 18. The dates are Friday July 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th. 

 

Aerial Yoga Camp (ages 9 to 12)

Come hang with us! July 18th through the 21st from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, The Yoga Garden Tween Aerial Yoga Camp invites tweens (ages 9-12) to come discover positive activity in a supportive environment through the practice of Aerial Yoga. Students will be paired two per silk in order to exhibit the importance of safety and service to one another. Each day will have a separate theme where tweens will be taught poses and play games inspired by the day's specific theme. Snacks will be provided. This is a great way for your child to be active and acrobatic this summer!

A children's consent form must be completed for each child before the child can attend the camp.
