Laura began her yoga practice over 6 years ago as a way to ease the effects of her demanding job as a cosmetologist. Looking for a way to bring physical and mental balance to her life, she began her journey into yoga. As her practice developed, so did her desire to share the mental clarity and emotional wellbeing she recieved. Building on these experiences and her past employment with all walks of life, she recognized how a yoga practice can engage the body to overcome stress and social pressure, practice mindfulness, and increase self-esteem. As a yoga teacher, Laura aspires to bring a multitude of passions onto the mat, including music, dance, art, and an overall mindfulness of the 5 senses. She believes that through a personal yoga practice; which includes the artistic aspects of humanity in a creative, nonjudgmental atmosphere; one can begin to explore their true authenticity.
